Links FROM Us
Our web site focus is strictly for same-sex couples issues and only provide links in our resource lists to sites with substantial information for couples.

We maintain our couples focus by not placing links to general gay/lesbian/bi/trans sites — no matter how well intended. Nor do we usually place links to commercial sites, that is, sites that focus on selling goods and services, rather than offering information on liberation issues.

Our resource lists general categories:

  • Organizations supporting same-sex couples
  • Parenting
  • Domestic partnership
  • Legal marriage
  • Ceremonies offered by individual congregations
  • Immigration

We have no separate list of commercial services.

Our decision on linking depends on:

  • Substantial Information
One essay on same-sex marriage, or the like,
does not constitute a “substantial” Web site.
  • Not Being “Under Construction”
Contact us when your site is finished.
  • Clear Annotated Information
A simple Table of Contents goes a long way.

Article Submission
If you have an essay or report you think of value to same-sex families, consider submitting them to Partner for inclusion on our web site.

All authors on our Web site retain their copyright. The only exceptions are (a) organizations which want their articles reprinted as much as possible and do not care about their copyright, and (b) government representatives, whose work is automatically in the public domain.

We prefer to place useful articles on our site — rather than just link — because of the extremely high rate of Web site address changes and disappearances. It is also consistent with our other articles.
