The Ceremony

The ceremony is short and simple, however, you may add your own elements — for example, poems or philosophic writing — that would be gathered or written by you.

Any religion’s writings or prayers could be incorporated into the service, be it Atheist, Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, Naturist, Native American, New Age, Pagan, Pantheist, Rastafari, Sikh, Taoist, Confucian, Jain, Shinto, Vodun, Wicca, or Zoroastrian. It’s all good.

There could also be an open time during the ceremony, for improvisational speaking about your relationship either by you or by congregation participants.

Here is the basic ceremonial script: [Basic Ceremony Script]
