Partners Task Force is an international resource for same-sex couples, supporting the diverse community of committed gay and lesbian partners through a variety of media, since 1986.
To continue our good works, we need your support.
Our main project is the Web site, which contains more than 400 free-accessed articles. We provide the only major, couples-focused organization on the Internet.
Our constantly updated Web site contains essays, surveys, legal articles, and resources on legal marriage, ceremonies, domestic partner benefits, relationship tips, parenting, and immigration.
Couples, counselors, clergy, personnel staff, reporters, researchers, teachers, students, and government officials frequently access the Web site, and often contact us.
Through our communication efforts, we are able to provide enlightening data and rationale supporting same-sex couples to lawmakers, reporters and students.
In 1993, we produced a musical comedy about a gay male couple and family values, called The Fight Before Christmas. It is available as a 7:30-minute excerpt on Demians Film & Video Projects archive DVD. The original 20-min. video is no longer available.
In 1996, we produced the nations first documentary on legal marriage. The Right to Marry, which was widely distributed. It is available as a 7-minute excerpt on Demians Film & Video Projects archive DVD. This excerpt is useful for generating discussions on legal marriage issues for classes and community gatherings. The original 72-min. video is now out-of-print.
Weekly, we respond to an average of 10 phone calls, and more than 30 e-mails from couples, reporters, students, TV show producers, etc.
We are frequently quoted by the press on issues of concern to same-sex couples, such as, domestic partnership, couples surveys, legal marriage. We also appear on television and radio as experts on couples issues.

We are continuously contacted by high school, college and graduate students and teachers who are debating or reporting on discrimination in legal marriage, adoption, and immigration. The data and essays we make freely available have given a whole new generation exposure to the truth about our relationships, and they, in turn, are better able to support our same-sex families.
Your financial support helps us continue these efforts and generate new projects.
Thank you.
